England fans travelling north to attend England vs Bosnia and Herzegovina at St Jame’s Park on Monday 3rd June will now have the chance to get home on the same day by train after Lumo confirmed it would run a late service to help.
The amended service to London King’s Cross is due to depart Newcastle railway station at 22:20.
The match against Bosnia and Herzegovina will be one of the final chances for supporters to see the Three Lions at home before the European Championship tournament in Germany later this month.
Fans will be travelling to the North East of England to watch England at St James’ Park for the first time since 2005, and the team’s eighth outing overall at the home of the Magpies. Travelling by Lumo means fans will use a 100% electric train, reducing their carbon footprint for the journey.
Single tickets start from £44.90 when booked fee-free on the Lumo website.
